The Fuhrer, The Feline, The Friend

As to show my gratitude for the blog review, I've decided to do a review for Nick's very own Blugger Blog as well. =)

(Sorry, can't see much from this picture ><)
Nick started blogging a few months earlier than me, at the month of June 2007. His blog has indeed undergone changes during the interval of these 2 years. I do not just mean the URL change nor the switch from blogger to mejournals but also the content of the blog itself.

As mentioned, Nick's blog content has definitely matured and diversed itself for the past 2 years. It used to solely be a diary itself, recording the more significant events of Nick's life. Now it has varied into posts on reviews, thoughts, some wisdom and opinions, plus a few tags here and there.

His rate of blogging has slowed down this year. His posts are now usually weekly though this always varies from time to time. And the posts are always worth the wait.

Nick is an awesome writer and I always did look forward to reading his posts. He uses just the right words and doesn't overdo it with that flowery language too. Besides that, his posts always had that wit and black humour that add the extra spice to his material =). Short posts usually have the right amount of information to satisfy us or it leaves me with the urge to find out more. Long posts are not a burden to read and you would still wish you could continue reading on. That's how captivating and interesting Nick's writing style is.

There are times when you would find chunks of emo posts here and there in the blog. It shows us the true person behind that "quiet" skinny prefect you see in school everyday. It show the working of his mind. Nick goes through life like the rest of us, having to make difficult decisions, living up to his peers, facing betrayal, judging loyalties. Nick grows as the blog grows and hopefully, he will come into senses with himself fully someday.

The blog layout is simple, without any widgets nor music players ,just the chatbox. which is enough I would say. It's the content that counts.

It's been so long since I've followed his journey from Nikolai to Nicholas, memorable indeed. And hopefully, Nick, and fellow readers continue to grow along with the blog =).
